Think and Act Like a Great Company – IBM Story Picture
In the early days of IBM, founder Tom Watson held a very clear picture of what the finished IBM Corporation would look like – a large, successful company. He then asked himself how a company which looked like that would have to act. Mr. Watson realized that unless they began to think and act that way from the very beginning, they would never get there. He realized that for IBM to become a great company it would have to think and act like a great company long before it ever became one. By BEing a great, successful company from the beginning, IBM would DO the things a great, successful company would do.
